I literally did sleep in a tent in a ditch, while there in Crawford, Texas. The rains created wet mud which brought out the notorious Fire Ants! Texan's revenge, perhaps? No, I met too many Texans who came out to tell us they were from Texas and supported what Cindy Sheehan was doing. I think I hold the record, though, for worst allergic reaction to Fire Ants of any while I was at Camp Casey. I had severe allergic reaction and my feet and legs were swollen to gargantuan elephant feet the entire time I was there.
